Islamic law regarding unregistered marriage (Hukum Islam tentang Nikah Siri)

Abstract

In principle, as long as a marriage is attended by the guardian and other witnesses and does not violate the provisions of Islamic Shari'a and has fulfilled the pillars and conditions of marriage as mentioned above, then the marriage is valid according to Islamic Shari'a.

In essence, this serial marriage is not a solution to justify a relationship. There are no regulations from any religion that recommend unregistered marriages. Unregistered marriages should not be carried out because the greatest losses are to the woman and the children born to the two. Therefore, it must be prevented before it spreads and is considered the best decision by people who do not yet understand and understand the true meaning of marriage.
